Recovery in the Lifestyle : 12 Steps & 12
Traditions
|
Recovery in the Lifestyle is grateful to
A.A. World Services, Inc., for giving our
group its permission to use an adapted
version of the original 12 Steps and 12
Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. We
received this official permission in May,
2006
(read the
letter).
A.A. World Services' only request was that
we display a specific disclaimer about
non-affiliation, and that we also show the
original steps and traditions of Alcoholics
Anonymous. Recovery in the Lifestyle is
delighted to do so, and appreciates the
cooperation of A.A. with the many recovery
groups that have sprung up since A.A.'s
inception in 1935.
Indeed, within any Recovery in the Lifestyle
group can be found members who represent
many of them, as we welcome everyone in the
BDSM lifestyle who belongs to any 12 step
program to our open meetings (and their
friends).
Posted at the request of A.A. World
Services, Inc.: The Twelve Steps and
Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous
have been reprinted and adapted with the
permission of Alcoholics Anonymous World
Services, Inc. (“A.A.W.S.”).
Permission to reprint and adapt the Twelve
Steps and Twelve Traditions does not mean
that Alcoholics Anonymous is affiliated with
this program. A.A. is a program of
recovery from alcoholism only - use of
A.A.’s Steps and Traditions or an adapted
version of its Steps and Traditions in
connection with programs and activities
which are patterned after A.A., but which
address other problems, or use in any other
non-A.A. context, does not imply otherwise.
We keep all of our literature available on
this web site for download in .pdf format
from our Document
Center. |
